This oil painting for autumn by Nancy Lee Moran has rich colors and fine details. Her friend Pamela Estrada sewed the quilted wallhanging that is shown in the art. Pamela used free-motion quilting and a pattern ("Autumn Moon" by Melanie Formway Chang from StoryQuilts.com). While her quilt had a bluebird, Nancy Lee changed the bluebird into a friendly owl (from imagination). This art is a detail from Nancy Lee's art "Harvest Bounty" (also on Fine Art America). With Photoshop, Nancy moved the placement of the bird and added more leaves.
