Nice nod to Mondrian! Very nice! Congrats on your sale!

Oliver Johnston replied:

Many thanks, Donna! It's exactly that: I wanted to try my hand at my own Mondrian-style design and see what it would look like if I altered the colour scheme from the famous red, blue and yellow. I'm really pleased that other people like it too and have bought prints for their walls. Oliver.

Thanks everybody for your comments below! I'm really pleased to have sold a print of this artwork - it looks very stylish with the layout and frame chosen by the buyer. Oliver.

Congrats on your sale! :)

Oliver Johnston replied:

Many thanks, Andee. I'm really pleased about the sale. Oliver.

This reminds me of a blueprint. I hope it's hanging in an architect's office somewhere!

Oliver Johnston replied:

Hi Diane. Sadly not - the original was bought by a (Dutch) friend who is a fan of her compatriot Mondrian. (She also commissioned the work 'Untitled' in my collection - check it out.) So it is her living room in which this piece hangs. Oliver.
