Intriguing piece with multiple interpretations, as Tom says. I see a figure slipping out of a shell on thin, delicate limbs; allusions of both hardness and fragility. Lovely. Thank you for your compliment to my work.

Great work, Sandi. I get the feeling of wanting peace. If everybody get how you feel, there will be peace in this world.

For me, the concept of peace in America entails more than the Iraq War. I see a figure who is conflicted not by direction, but by consequence and the ability to shape those consequences. For me, this work evokes a sadness, and not so much hope. Great work!

Wonderful image! It's hard to experience on a 3d basis in this 2d representation, but from what I can see, you made your solid media flow elegantly. That flag! The most intriguing thing, though, is tat solely from this photo, the political message can be interpreted in two ways. One way is that the woman is crawling out from under the oppressive weight of the flag or that she is being crushed by it. Another is that she is being protected by it. I love it!

Excellent piece ! I can hear her call loud and clear, but too bad we have a deaf, dumb and blind president that loves to play war games !
