Thank you for you support of my work....And yes who can not support the victims of Hurricane Sandy. So many people are still suffering

This painting reminds us that not only people are suffering from the effects of Sandy, but also so many animals. Thanks for submitting this to the "Art For Hurricane Sandy Relief" group, and pledging some or all of your artist profit to the relief charity of your choice (which could include the Humane Society, working overtime in stricken areas right now.) Description:

1. The visible aspect of one's character as it impresses others.
2. The sum total of the distinctive characteristics of an individual.
3. Pleasingly distinctive qualities in a person.
4. A prominent person
As my work becomes more and more based in realism I am spending a great deal of time photographing the "personalities" that I paint. I may take 15-50 photo's of the person I am going to work with. I am looking for that certain "something" that to me captures their uniqueness. The paintings themselves are painted with washcloths so they are not photo realism. Yet I strive to realistically represent the person's personality.....which would change every time I was to paint the same person. Much in the same way each of our beings changes from moment to moment.
