MODEL RELEASED. Photographing evidence. Scene of crime officer (SOCO) taking a photograph of a gun found near a crime scene. Next to the gun is photograph evidence marker. This helps the SOCO remember where the evidence was found when looking at the photographs. The SOCO is wearing protective clothing in the form of paper suits, overshoes and masks to prevent contamination of the crime scene. SOCOs provide scientific support to police forces. They establish what evidence is required from a crime scene and the best way to obtain it.
