Painting - Oil On Canvas Panel Board
Ted's oil painting "Pioneer Homestead" is a representation of the farm that he grew up on when he was a child. The setting is looking southward at the top of Woodmere Road toward the Telkwa Mountains here in the Bulkley Valley, British Columbia, Canada. The two pioneer buildings featured here only exist in this picture but the view is the same and is very much how it looks when the hayfields have been cut and baled. The fields in late summer turn gold, the snow has mostly melted from the peaks of the huge mountains and the temperatures can reach to more than 30 degrees Celsius.
Such a beautiful place for a child to grow up!
