Pittsburgh January Thaw
Photograph - Photographic Print
A January thaw brought melting snow and warm air aloft , causing a cloud inversion so I headed to the Mt. Washington to shoot the sunrise, hoping the city would be shrouded in fog. The fog did not make it into town for sunrise, but it can be seen in the distance creeping down the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers. The sky, however, did not disappoint as vibrant colors crept across the sky for a moment.
