Description:

Plenty Coups was born in 1848 at "the cliffs that have no name" probably in Montana. He was with General Crook in the "Battle of the Rosebud" against the Sioux. It has been said that he and his warriors averted anotner "Little Bighorn". In 1921, Plenty Coups was chosen by the President of the United States to represent all of the North American tribes ay the dedication ceremony at the "Tomb of the Unknown Soldier" at Arlington. The original of this piece was completed in 2005, and has been double matted, covered with non-glare glass, and framed in a weathered brass metal frame.
