Description:

The Point Wilson Lighthouse is at Fort Worden State Park in Port Townsend, Washington. This is the second lighthouse to be located at Fort Worden and went on duty in 1913. This structure was designed by the German architect, Carl W. Leick for the U.S. Light Service. Herr Leick's motto was, "I build them beautiful, and build them to last." Indeed. This work has a blistering amount of toil in it. It is original art. The gallery offers this work as signed, numbered, and authenticated Giclee canvas, and archival quality fine paper prints.

I love your interpretation of the Point Wilson Lighthouse! I grew up in Port Townsend and have a few photos of the lighthouse but none with such a flavor of Americana that you captured. Wonderful piece.
