Description:

Porsche, is the resident cat of le Vieux Couvent in Frayssinett, France. We first met in 2003 on a painting trip to Southwest France. Porsche’s family, Corinne and Bill warned the guests if you didn’t want to be visited by Porsche you need to keep the doors and windows to your room shut. I really didn’t want Porsche sleeping on my head so I closed my window at night. I soon learned Porsche was very adept at opening the ancient windows on the 17th century buildings and banged on my window at night until she got in. I finally decided to leave the window open and let her enter without a bang. We cohabited very well after that. I was reacquainted with Porsche in September 2008 and she is still the “boss” of le Vieux even though she has aged since 2003. She is a patient model for all the painters and photographers visiting le Vieux and we are madly in love with her.
