Painting - Transparent Watercolor On Paper
Porta Coeli (Heaven's Doors) is a Historical Monument of Puerto Rico. I wanted to depict the difference between God's creation and man's creation. So, I painted two different sources of light: the warm silhouette of the Sacred Heart coming through the main door of Porta Coeli, transmitting his love in all directions. On the street is the cool weak light, created by man that reflects to the floor. The artwork is a transparent watercolor, the white of the paper shows through.
