Medium
Drawing - Colored Pencil On Paper
Description
Colored pencil portrait of a sad female elf, by Danielle R T Haney.
Background is slightly altered (compared with the original artwork). While they are tight & even, the pencil strokes in the original's background are visible. During the scanning process, the green in the background got lost and became navy blue. Therefore, I altered it a bit digitally, to return it to its intended color.

Well U R right Danielle, U R Not an Elf, although I like elves and LOTR and such, But the Eyes are so similar, maybe the presence U have instilled within the lens or Iris, as your comment details, I read once that if you write a book , U R never to create your own index, it reveals too much about Yourself! A similar flavour as to your comment, now I will stop as I go on! You have very cool work my friend!
Danielle R T Haney replied:
Ah~ LOTR~ THEE BEST! That is very true (re: revealing too much)... takes away the mystery... a constant struggle for me 'cause I like to gab. :-D Thanks for visiting w/ me Brian. :-)

Very Cool Work, Danielle! I love your galleries! I have noticed, that on occasion, some of our own SELF is reflected in our portraits. Could this be true of this fine piece?
Danielle R T Haney replied:
Thanks Brian! I'm a big fan of Yours! Wasn't meant to be a self-portrait (I'd have to hire a plastic surgeon to get my features like hers :-D )... but I agree w/ you- I think so much of our work is created by our subconscious & inspired by multitudes of things in our lives that we're not even aware we're exposing.... :-) Thank You So Much~ always enjoy Your Visits My Friend!

WOW Danielle......absolutely one of my faves! Especially since she looks like you, why you cry? :o( So VERY much reminds me of drawings I made as a child, only not nearly this good. If I bought it, I surely would put it on a she elf ;o)
Danielle R T Haney replied:
Oh Thank You Cristopher... (nah, not me- her nose; straighter, lips; bigger, & ears; a bit different)... I seem to draw sad (accidentally?)... but I'm a happy person... if I start drawing happy, you can worry. :~D Would love to see those drawings! Always Thankful for Your Visits~ I Highly Value Your Opinion............... & ya make me laugh!!
