Pot Holes - 2 Of 2
This series of B&W photographs is a texture and pattern study of an open air concrete structure. The light penetrating through the grided concrete structure and grazes the concrete aggregate, revealing its surface texture. The underside of the structure is hidden in the darkness of shadow, but reveals the overall pattern of the subject. Instead of completely filling this scene with the pattern, I intentionally exposed the perimeter elements of the concrete, as to hint to the viewer what they are viewing. This photograph is #2 in the series of 2. Photograph was taken in Riva san Vitale, Switzerland.
