Description
I painted these old medicine bottles during a power failure. It turned out to be a bit more difficult for me to get the values correct by candle light. It was a lot of fun though. The piece is painted with 18th century reproduction watercolor paints on Arches 140# cold-pressed paper.

Ken, This is another of your myriad of marvelous works. To be able to paint the way you do is remarkable, to say the least. YOu have so many fine paintings on FAA that I wish I could comment on each one. Perhaps I will take a couple of days to do that sometime. (Smile.) This is another fave and vote. Thank you Anne-Elizabeth! I painted this one by candlelight during a power outage. I had these vintage medicine bottles that I had discovered in my crawl space in this old house and they made an instant candle lit still-life. Fun stuff! Thanks for the kind words!
