Ken, This is another of your myriad of marvelous works. To be able to paint the way you do is remarkable, to say the least. YOu have so many fine paintings on FAA that I wish I could comment on each one. Perhaps I will take a couple of days to do that sometime. (Smile.) This is another fave and vote. BTW, this has a very interesting title. F/V

Ken Powers replied:

Thank you Anne-Elizabeth! I painted this one by candlelight during a power outage. I had these vintage medicine bottles that I had discovered in my crawl space in this old house and they made an instant candle lit still-life. Fun stuff! Thanks for the kind words!

I am blown away by all of your work, just so amazed...I only started painting a few months ago, but maybe SOMEDAY I might be able to do work like this! Thanks for inspiring a middle-aged want-to-be-artist mom!!

Ken Powers replied:

Thank you very much! I really enjoy doing what I do and even though I am in the midst of a floral series, I love painting all kinds of objects. I find glass to be particularly difficult so I may work on that next. I am always experimenting. Best of luck with your new venture into painting! I know you will find it as rewarding as I have.

Colors, painting, all perfect.

Ken Powers replied:

Thank you Christine! I appreciate you taking the time to have a look!

I so love these... just something about bottles...peace and love linmarie

Ken Powers replied:

Thanks LinMarie! I found these bottles buried in the crawl space of my 1917 craftsman home. Amazing what these old homes hold!

Nice composition and color.

THANK YOU FOR COMMENTING ON MY WORK AND IN TURN I REALLY LIKE THESE BOTTLES
