Description
Pumpkin is a rescue kitten we found meowing under the potting bench in the side yard. We were able to coax him inside the lanai with food and after some days we were able to trap him and take him to the vets. Pumpkin, named by my granddaughter, gets on my desk and sits there for hours unless you try to pet him and then he is off like lightening to his hiding place..

Thank you, Carol for the nice comment. Neighbors send me pictures of a large cat that looks like Pumpkie but he had distinctive markings and though I wish he would come say hello the one they send me pictures of is not Pumpkie.

Thank you, Nicklas for the wonderful comment. Unfortunately for me he ran away in 2019 and I was devastated by the loss of his companionship. I have received notices of "sightings" but I have not been able to get close enough, even with binoculars to varify.

Thank you, Sarah. I am glad to have this memory of Pumpkin as he decided he liked the wildlife better 5 years ago. I do see him on occasion when he stops by the neighborhood but will only let me get so close and then runs away.

Thank you, Kathleen. I am still sad that after three years he ran away and has been gone for more than two years. I still miss him and am glad I painted him more than once.
