Quakers lead to their execution. Mary Dyer with either William Robinson, or Marmaduke Stephenson, as they are taken to be hung as heretics in Massachusetts on October 27, 1659. Puritans were intolerant of all other Christian denominations, who they believed were heretics to be persecuted.
