While having to ask my wife, a renowned watercolor artist, what Gouache was, and she explained it, it even makes this piece have more beauty and meaning to us unskilled artists! I saw as she pointed out the translucency of the watercolor as a contrast to the gouache, which was a true learning experience. Your work with both mediums has turned this old farmer, with his unique looks into a masterpiece of beautiful artwork.
