ok, well...so I couldn't wait...just had to see what someone who wrote such lovely things was up to with their painting!! I love this one especially and hope you don't mind me saying so, but for me it has a very Picasso-esque energy and feeling to it. The dynamic movement of it also reminds me a bit of Chagall's work which I have always loved. I think the title is very appropriate as well, and I am enjoying not only the work as a whole, but certain elements of the image that jump out at me and give it additional meaning and depth. v/f

Jumper, "Rebirth" is a boldly hued, highly textured and deceptively balanced although asymmetrical piece full of intriguing forms, broken lines and twisted geometrical shapes. The piece is balanced in hue and intensity. The non-representational shapes are arranged across the canvas in two groupings defined by a bold ribbon of color extending from the upper right quandrant to the lower left. The eye is drawn repeatedly to the white form (to the left side of the canvas) with the irregular form in its center, but also to the green and the purple forms on the opposite side. According to your description, it "is about the beginning of a soul" and the entire piece is appropriately evocative at a mythological level but also intellectually stimulating and, I suggest, even challenging. Very well done!!! V
