Description
During March 2013 a mini tornado tore a path of destruction through rural areas in NE Victoria. This photograph was taken in January 2014 as the massive gum trees that were stripped of all but their trunk and main branches were making recovery.

Like the tornado, these massive gum trees are also strong. Nice capture, Linda ~ l/f
Linda Lees replied:
Thanks Phil. They are, but they can also spontaneously drop limbs, camping beneath them can be dangerous.

A very beautiful shot, Linda. Love the composition and the softness. The destruction that the tornado did had to be massive. l/f
Linda Lees replied:
Luckily there were no people injured, only property and the landscape. Thanks for your thoughtful comment Lucinda
