Description:

Mother and Son Mejiro with Ginger 20" X 30" On Silk with Mineral Pigments 1999 I started this painting after many years away from Hawaii. The mejeros are so charming and energetic as they dart about the ginger flowers early in the morning. All of Nature seemed to turn into particles of color.
