Description:

Winner of the 1987 Arts on the River Weekend in Savannah Georgia. This piece was a study of several different perspectives and the multiple planes of perception we are capable of seeing when our mind focuses on a subject. From the reflection in the woman's glasses to the sky reflected in the mirror pieces to the depth under the paper the woman is drawn on. In art we are capable of expressing so much more with a piece than is immediately visible without giving a piece a little more thought. In many cases it's all in the mind of the beholder not necessarily an intended message from the artist.
