Researcher Removing Sample Tube From Cryostorage
Photograph - Photograph
MODEL RELEASED. Cryostorage. View of a biological researcher removing a sample tube from liquid nitrogen cryostorage. Liquid nitrogen exists at temperatures of about -200 degrees C. At this temperature all biological processes are stopped allowing samples to be kept in a state of suspended animation until they are required. The thick gloves must be worn to protect the researcher's hands from the cold.
