Many years ago, I tried to visit from Florida, just about every other year, than life got in the way and it was 10 years before my next visit.

This was one of those iconic images, that I've tried to capture for years, from Clingman's Dome to the Blue Ridge and found this view peeking through a new development, that is gated now, I'm sure, but had just started to put in the roads. I could tell from the main road that the view would be great and it was! Rich

No matter how often I visit the mountains and see a sight like this, it never fails to awe me. Great photo!
