The Rincon Mountains, east of Tucson, Arizona (USA), provide a rain soaked backdrop for the sun kissed Sonoran desert. A rainbow seems to touch the top of Rincon Peak. Breathe in the fresh air! Listen to the cactus wrens, curved bill thrashers, and quail. Feel the cool breeze in your face. Nearby Saguaro National Park offers one of the best road/mountain bike rides in the world. The 8-mile loop features hills and valleys of incomparable desert views.
I have enjoyed many bike rides there...walks, jogs, and cars work too!
