Thanks Bette. Even though I almost always work in alkyd, I think acrylic is probably the most versatile medium there is.

Richard, thanks for the explanation - interesting that you have used a watercolor technique with acrylics! Beautiful!

Thanks Bette. When you apply acylics in thin layers or glaze with colour & medium, nothing underneath is disturbed. You can create wonderful, crisp effects.

Richard, you make acrylic look like watercolor! Beautiful work on both the gull and the water!
