A modest cabin on the raging river, in the midst of nature. It is April and the big Winter snow is melting in the Sierras and filling the river adding to its current and flow. It cuts through the big rocks, rushing over broken timber, pass a small and quaint cabin as it comes to the bend in the river and turns quite briskly and continues its journey though the beautiful Sierras. The Rainbow Lodge is on the bend. This is near Lake Tahoe, and near the Truckee River, the Plumas River makes itself known for its beauty and fortitude. This area is right on the edge where Nevada and California meet in the High Sierras. Beautiful and a most sacred space to me.
