Description:

This is my hommage to the ever-popular Claude Monet, inspired by his lesser-known "Poplars on the Edge of the River Epte". I love that particular painting because he uses a much bolder palette, rather than the more well-known pastels. Here I've incorporated beautiful handmade papers, gold, silver & copper leaf, copper wire and findings, jute string, and anything else that I felt made this work sing.
