Roaring Brook - Sunderland Vermont Autumn Scene
Photograph - Photography
I live for the simple beauty and serenity of nature in Vermont's gorgeous back-country! This is a scene from a river way up high in the Green Mountains known as "Roaring Brook". I traversed the river banks looking for interesting features and this one section really caught my eye. A minor, un-named cascade that gently tumbles over boulders and through the forest canopy. The warm earth tone river rocks in the foreground compliment the scene as does the colorful brilliant Vermont fall foliage.
Roaring Brook is perhaps known as Vermont prettiest and most scenic river. For a few miles it runs along the very rural Kelley Stand Road, which itself traverses the spine of the Green Mountains. The road is not maintained during the winter and offers no amenities, other than the awesome Long Trail and wonderful scenery if your vehicle is up to the task.
If your looking for a landscape that speaks volumes of Vermont's spectacular scenery look no further. This image is tack sharp! Very suitable for an enlargement framed.
