This is fantastic how did you do the branches and broken thorny effect?

I outline everything in wax...where ever you put wax, the dyes can't go. then i fill it in with color. when it is dry, i waxed the whole piece and then crumbled it. this breaks up the wax and allows fabric to be exposed. i then brushed the whole piece in dark dyes. way fun. and serrendipitious.
