At the Fulton County Museum NNW of Rochester, Richland Township. US31 N. 3.8 miles from jct with IN14 on the W. side of Rochester to the barn on the W. side of the road. Built by Kindgis in 1924, owned by Bert Leedy, then Partridge, then Paxton. True round barn, white vertical siding, 3-pitch conical roof, windowed cupola, excellent condition. Donated by Paxton to the Fulton County Historical Society, 37E 375N, Rochester, IN 46975. FCHS moved & restored it. Now the Round Barn Museum with farm implements & tools, & 1912 antique truck. Open Mon.- Sat. 9 to 5. Phone 219-2223-4436. Copied from the Indiana Round Barn List Dale Travis. Indiana had more round barns than any other state. At one time Indiana had about 225 round barns. Now there are fewer than 100 left in the state.Fulton County had more round barns than any other county in Indiana.
