Ruins At Monterey Bay
Photograph - Photography
Remaining ruins of the once world-famous sardine cannery at Monterey, California, stand on a beach at the edge of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. In the 1940s, John Steinbeck's best-selling novel "Cannery Row" made the area even more famous. Today, Cannery Row is a street well-known to international tourists for its shops, restaurants, seaside hotels and the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
