Love the colors, makes me wish I was there. I want to visit Canada some day hopefully sooner than later. You have a very nice variety of paintings and photos.

Rebecca, thank you so much for such a heartfelt acknowledgement..very appreciated, unexpected, and not necessary...but since you did it, I am greatly honored. . What can I say about your painting, firstly it is REALLY BEAUTIFUL. You have taken a scene, familiar to me, and made it totally your own. I know that you grew up on a farm, loved all the animals there, and have so many great stories to share. This painting is one of them, you have created a mellow, timeless mood of days gone by.You have chosen just the perfect sky tones to compliment the warmth of the barnwood, varying the barn colors perfectly. Your subtle use of color is exquisitive, surface textures are rich and true to life. I love the effects you achieved in the dirt road, leading our eyes toward the friendliness of the barns and the old homestead. The modulation in tone and color in all your grassland areas is superb., as is the challenging brushwork that you so obviously mastered. I love this painting, very, very much...thanks for doing it, hope you show it to your folks.. your friend, Carole
