On our walks in the mornings my husband, Jim and I find treasures like these Sacuanjoche blooms, glistening with raindrops. Their colors are like expertly tie-dyed petals, the yellows fading outward into white tinged with rosy pink to magenta. The fragrance is used for perfume, but we just breathe in the wonderful freshness. Folk dancers make garlands for their hair and leis to adorn Nicaraguan beauty. Photo taken in Matagalpa, Nicaragua, Central America.
