Description
My dear departed father painted this with oils on canvas. He used a photo for reference that I provided for him. When I was growing up, my father ran a sign company "Turner Sign Service". He was the owner and operator of the small company for over 55 years. He painted scenes, portraits and still lifes in his spare time. He painted this for me when he was about 80 years old. He was such a great artist. He was not famous nor rich. Many family members have his paintings which he simply gave to them. I have some of his artwork in his own gallery here on FAA.

This image is small because it is from a disk which does not have the artwork showing with enough "pixels".

Thank you dear Deyanira. "Daddy" painted this from looking at a postcard, as I remember. I will never be as great as he was, but he was a very positive influence upon me as an artist. I started taking art classes a few years ago because I (secretly) wanted to please him and it turned out that I found my passion in life, or at least one of them ...Smiles.
