Description
A cruising catamaran anchored next to Sandy Cay in the British Virgin Islands. Sandy Cay is uninhabited. I climbed up the mast steps of my little boat to get the shot. Everything always looks interesting from up there.

"Art is the stored honey of the human soul, gathered on wings of misery and travail." -- Congratulations on your recent sale of this amazing Work!
Bryan Allen replied:
Thank you Gull G for the great quote, though I have to admit that in this instance, there wasn't much travail or suffering the day I took that!

what is the best photo paper to use for this image as framed wall art.
Bryan Allen replied:
Hi Veronica - My answer might seem like a bit of a dodge but it really is true that it's personal preference. The various surfaces will each give a slightly different look and feel to the image and since I don't know you or your preferences, I am at a loss as to how to guide you. If it were me and I knew it was going to be behind glass, I'd go with something less than full gloss, say a luster, so as not to have two reflections. But then others just have to have that extra crispness and contrast that gloss yields. There is a lot online about it and here is just one link of many. Or go to a gallery and see how things look to you there and see what they are using. Hope this helps. https://www.levelframes.com/blog/your-guide-to-photo-printing-and-framing

Bryan Allen replied:
Send me back and I'll take another and give it to you.... Looks like you are no stranger to boats and the Caribbean. Thanks Amy!

Congrats on your sale! :)
Bryan Allen replied:
Thanks Andee! But I'd trade it for being back there again. It's on my schedule but not until 2015.
