Seagulls At Fernandina 2

Gulls are typically medium to large birds, usually grey or white, often with black markings on the head or wings. They typically have squawking calls, stout, longish bills, and webbed feet. Most gulls, are ground-nesting carnivores, which will take live food or scavenge opportunistically. Gulls are typically coastal or inland species, rarely venturing far out to sea.
I have been an artist as long as I can remember. My specialty is Portraits and Pastels. I took years off from drawing knowing that one day I would return to doing what I love. I've said for many years that I wanted to retire and paint lighthouses. I have dreamed of going to the Outer Banks in NC and taking photos to work from. I made that trip for the first time in 2012 and we loved the Outer Banks so much we are planning on retiring there someday. I bought the cameras to capture images to paint from, and fell in love with photography. It has become a passion on its own. I love traveling and taking photos and hope to be a full-time photographer and artist in the near future. I love shooting weddings and private events.
