The great composition and the spacing of the seahorses is what really caught my eye initially. Well done

Very nice work William... The colors, the "out of habitat" seahorses, and the slightly dramatic lighting :) Fav/Vote

Lovely work William, there's a real child like sense of fun and innocence about this image I find really appealing! F + V + FB Share :^) P.S. Beautiful shot - an inspired moment to capture, very dramatic colours and contrasts (V;F - CfC)

Great capture, William......this is so appealing! I lived in St. Pete many years ago......I bet it has really changed since I was there. F/V

William Fields replied:

Thanks Kenny! I was struck by the population density. There were people everywhere from mid morning to 1 or 2 the next morning and then, nothing. I'm a night owl and an early riser. I saw a lot of time when there just was no one around. Every inch of available space has been built on or is a parking lot. I did find a boarded up hotel on the beach. I photographed it and have been test running it on my facebook page https://www.facebook.com/pages/William-Fields-Art-Photography/146940972025347?ref=hl The building is all one color, coral pink, and it has every window boarded and the doors are closed up with concrete blocks. A somewhat mysterious looking place.

Wonderful image William! Salt Air, Sand and Seahorses! What a fantastic combination! I don't know how big these kites actually were but you're wonderful processing has made them look awesome in comparison to the "little people". What fun! f/v/g+

William Fields replied:

Thanks Barbara! I'm not sure how large they were either. It was difficult to gauge as they were airborne of course. But, I think they were probably on the order of 4 to 5 feet tall. I had the kites as close to me as possible and the people were in the distance. That probably accounts for the disparity in size. Thanks again!
