Description:

This latest semi-abstract work is done in mixed media. Using watercolour as a base, I have built up layers of colour with acrylic, both in liquitex (thick and opaque) and in ink (translucent). The layers of Pastel also help to build up the texture. Finally, I have used hand-made silk and paper collage with leaf skeletons to create veils which add yet another dimension.
