Description
Nuestra Senora de la Asuncion y San Frutos cathedral in Segovia was the last Gothic style cathedral built in Spain (in the mid 16th century) and is considered a masterpiece of Basque-Castilian Gothic style. It is the centrepiece of the Old Town, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985. The way the shapes of the cypress trees complemented the carved stone pinnacles and decorations caught my eye, as did the colour contrast.
