Description:

THIS PIECE IS THE VERY FIRST CREATED IN MY ONGOING BLIND COMPOSITION SERIES. HOW DOES BLIND COMPOSITION WORK, YOU MAY OR MAY NOT ASK? WELL, BLIND COMPOSITION VARIES BY PIECE, AND EVOLVES OVER TIME. FOR THIS ONE, IT ALL STARTED WITH A PENCIL, A SKETCHBOOK, AND A GUY LIKE ME WITH ENOUGH NERVE TO TRY TO DRAW ALL THE LINES AND FIGURES IN HIS HEAD WHICH POP UP EVERY TIME HE CLOSES HIS EYES. THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE ORIGINAL SKETCH WAS TRULY LAID OUT BLINDLY; I JUST KEPT MY EYES CLOSED AND SCRIBBLED AWAY TO WHATEVER FELT RIGHT IN MY MIND. WHEN I FELT AS THOUGH I WERE FINISHED SCRIBBLING, I WENT BACK (EYES OPEN) AND FILLED IN THE SPACES; SO TO SPEAK. THE DRAWING WAS TRANSFERRED TO CANVAS, THEN... THAT\'S IT. WOW, SURE AM GLAD I LIVED TO TELL THAT STORY...

Well, for a dead guy your art is out there, awesome, and truly makes me smile. It is all just macabre enough to be delicious and silly at the same time.
