Sentinal Pine Bridge - White Mountains National Forest
Photograph - Fine Art Photography
High in the White Mountains of New Hampshire in Franconia Notch the Sentinel Pine Covered Bridge spans the Pemigewasset River and the natural formation known as The Pool. The bridge itself spans cliffs as high as 130' and the scenic nature of the surroundings may seem closer to something more familiar to the Colorado Rockies. The cascades tumble over fallen boulders of granite which have collapsed from the steep cliffs above.
Captured during peak autumn foliage, this image is sharp and detailed.
