Description:

Oil painting from a photograph taken in Summer in southern Vermont (USA). A red-tailed hawk had been perched on the fence post and was the reason for my stopping to take the photo. The hawk flew off before I could set the camera. It still left me with a great basis for a painting of one of the most picturesque parts of New England.
