Description:

The Shawnee were a fierce tribe that migrated back to the Ohio Country during the early to mid 18th century as a result of white encroachment in the east. They settled along the Ohio River and its tributaries including the Scioto and Muskingum Rivers. During the French and Indian War, they and their Delaware brothers allied with the French and fought against the British.
