Description
A beautiful spring day in East Rockhill Township Bucks county Pa. USA. Sheards Mill Covered Bridge crosses Tohickon Creek just up stream from Lake Nockamixon at the isolated border of Haycock and East Rockhill Townships. Built in 1835, The bridge was named after David Sheard owner of the nearby mill. The bridge has recently had much restoration work done.
This particular angle of capture would be impossible these days as the recent property owners claim all the land around this bridge. They threaten those interested in the landmark. Hence the reason for this image being in my "Never Again" collection.
