Description:

The works of Frank Lloyd Wright, Bruce Goff and the other great visionaries of the �organic� movement in architecture and art inspire this piece. I started this art as a series of transparent layers that overlap and blend them into vibrant colors and shapes. For the backgrounds I use scans of various art that I make from scratch. I will do watercolor, and then add pastel or even oil or pretty much anything to get the effect I want, then, I can work with it to achieve the effect that I want. This process can take several months and I have several "backgrounds" in the works at all times. Then I build these up to the finished art. The process is very time intensive, but I think the overall effect is worth it.
