Thank you Donna! I slowed my shutter speed way down and braced my camera on rocks at the edge of the pool. My tripod doesn't get THAT low!! :)

Wow, that's really cool. My son was down in the area camping and came back smelling like smoke and his voice all gruff...be safe!

"Be Safe" is the phrase of the day and week around here! Luckily I live in town and a good distance from the fires :) Thank you for the kind comment and sharing your son's experience! As you probably guessed, the red color in the water is a reflection of the sun in the smoky sky above.
