Shining Cuckoo At Warbler Nest
Painting - Watercolor On Paper
Warblers are very kind birds and the best nest maker. They give the young a nest with soft feathers and a roof over their heads. Warblers are small birds so their nests are small but somehow cuckoos manage to get in, push warbler's eggs out and replace them with theirs. The warbler mum hatched and fed the cuckoo babies even the babies are way bigger than herself. Some thought that warbler did not know. I think she knows but just being kind. Great skill and great heart in such a tiny bird. I painted this picture to show the treasure a warbler left in the hand of nature and the contrast of it.
