Description
This painting was a joint effort by myself and a visiting family friend, whom also posed as the child in this painting. It's title derives from the right bottom panel, in which my co- painter created. She recently returned from sightseeing in Times Square in NYC and created the images and forms that reminded one of a ship in the middle of a sea of people walking around Times Square in New York City. This was my way of introducing visual art to this young creative mind. She asked plenty of questions as she looked around the SLIMRIC STUDIO.
Let's all get young people involved in the arts. This painting hangs in DeQuincy. La.

Dramatically pensive, emotionally expressive. Your beautiful artwork makes us better thinkers as we keep in our hearts what you so effortlessly create. Liked

Otis you are a stimulating, an inspirational presona to that kid. She will never forget that moment. Kids really open up with Arts. You are right, Otis: 'young people should get involved in the arts'. You have immortalized her smile. Wonderful painting!!

RIGHT ON O !!! What a splendid and inspiring piece of artwork you two have created together. I've always said as artists we can create all we artwork needed in the are self, so we must encourage others to help us. That way creating more artwork for all. Our young people is a excellent place to start. Never has these been a better chance for a young person to become famous in the art field or any other field for that matter then there is now. I spend a great deal of my time encouraging young people in their artwork. Not only encouraging but supplying them with the materials needed to do so. I'm so glad to see your doing likewise my friend. There's nothing more rewarding then to be working with young people and see their eyes light up with excitement finding they have a talent they never knew they had. The great artists from this generations will be the most documented artists of all time. It would make me very proud to say I was there to encourage them at the start of their amazing career. As an artist I feel there is no greater cause then encouraging others. Brilliant work of art friend and your friend also. You say this fine young artist is who O ? May her hands be blest as yours are O to paint this would a dream it can hang on to. Thank you for be a friend. Peace Ken
