Ships And Boats Passing Opera House
Photograph - Photography
A windy but otherwise perfect day to view the beauty of the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour and the suburbs beyond. This is a recent capture of mine from the Sydney Harbour Bridge of the frequently passing marine traffic which varies from minute to minute. There were ferries, yachts, speed boats and more all making their way to their destinations in this busy harbor. Sydney and its beautiful harbor is such a beautiful place to view and spend time just taking in its beauty.
The Sydney Opera House was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 28 June 2007. It is one of the 20th century's most distinctive buildings and one of the most famous performing arts centers in the world.
The Sydney Opera House is on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It sits at the north-eastern tip of the Sydney central business district (the CBD), surrounded on three sides by the harbour (Sydney Cove and Farm Cove) and inland by the Royal Botanic Gardens.
