I took this beautiful shot of a pink tulip. Its pink color looks refreshing and rare. I like the way it opened slightly and I named it "Shy AnnaBelle"
The tulip is a perennial, bulbous plant with showy flowers in the genus Tulipa, of which up to 109 species have been described and which belongs to the family Liliaceae.
Tulips are amongst one of the most attractive flowers on earth. They are known for its simplicity, ease of caring and colorful blooms. The name, tulip comes from tulipa or turban (also taliban) worn by people in the Middle East. Tulip is the national flower of Turkey & Iran and the floral emblem of Netherlands. The peculiar shape and colors of tulip make it one of the most loved flowers on earth.
